Women of Webster Five: Kate

Webster Five is celebrating Women’s History Month by highlighting some of the incredible women who make up our bank! This week’s spotlight is Kate at our Webster Branch.

How did you get into this industry?

I was ready to move on from the restaurant industry and pursue a career with a more consistent schedule, which led me to see banking as a great opportunity.

Why did you choose Webster Five?

I went to a job fair where I met Tracy and Nancy from the Dudley location.  Their friendliness and positive energy immediately put me at ease and made me excited about the possibility of working with them.

What is your favorite part about working in your field?

My favorite part of working at Webster Five is the relationships I’ve built with both customers and coworkers.  It’s rewarding to know I’ve formed meaningful connections over the years while helping customers meet their financial needs and supporting my colleagues’ growth.

What advice would you give to women looking to grow in their career or break into their desired field?

My advice to women looking to grow in their careers is to work hard, stay kind and maintain a positive attitude.  Positivity and kindness not only bring out the best in you, but also inspire those around you.
