Auburn, MA – The Webster Five Foundation has awarded more than $88,000 in grants to 19 nonprofit organizations serving communities across Massachusetts and northeastern Connecticut. This round of giving continues the Foundation’s nearly 30-year tradition of strengthening local communities.

Each quarter, the Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations or programs that support expanding or improving access to education, culture and the arts, social services, charitable activities and community development.

The following organizations received grants this cycle:

“When nonprofits have the resources to do what they do best, families and communities are empowered,” said Monica Thomas-Bonnick, Executive Director/Treasurer, Webster Five Foundation. “That’s at the heart of the Foundation’s mission, and why we’re honored to support these dedicated organizations.”

“Just as our customers trust us to safeguard their finances, our communities trust us to invest in organizations that create pathways for growth and opportunity,” said Brian Westerlind, President/CEO, Webster Five. “These grants reflect that responsibility – to be a bank that truly stands behind the people it serves.”
