Webster Five Foundation Empowers Communities with $88,000+ in Nonprofit Grants
Auburn, MA – The Webster Five Foundation has awarded more than $88,000 in grants to 19 nonprofit organizations serving communities across Massachusetts and northeastern Connecticut. This round of giving continues the Foundation’s nearly 30-year tradition of strengthening local communities.
Each quarter, the Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations or programs that support expanding or improving access to education, culture and the arts, social services, charitable activities and community development.
The following organizations received grants this cycle:
- 2Gether We Eat, Inc. (Worcester, MA) – $1,000 with a $1,000 match for its School-Based Hydroponic Education and Food Security Program.
- Catholic Charities Worcester County (Worcester, MA) – $2,000 for expanded access to social services.
- Community Legal Aid, Inc. (Worcester, MA) – $10,000 for the Language Access Project.
- Friendly House, Inc. (Worcester, MA) – $5,000 to support its social services programming.
- Girl Scouts of Central and Western MA (Worcester, MA) – $3,000 for Community-Based Programs: Worcester.
- Mass Audubon’s Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary and Conservation Center (Worcester, MA) – $4,000 to support the Plant and Animal Adaptations Program.
- Massachusetts Fair Housing Center, Inc. (Holyoke, MA) – $5,000 for the Housing Search Assistance Program.
- ONE Worcester (Worcester, MA) – $2,500 towards its Capacity-Building Through Educational Programming.
- Our Bright Future, Inc. (Southbridge, MA) – $10,000 over three years to support building renovations.
- Pakachoag Music School (Worcester, MA) – $2,500 for the Music Matters – Supporting Music Instruction in Worcester programming.
- Southeast Asian Coalition of Central Massachusetts, Inc. (Worcester, MA) – $5,000 towards the Small Business Technical Assistance programming.
- The Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group, Inc. (North Grosvenordale, CT) – $4,500 for the All-Star Adventure Program.
- Together for Kids Coalition (Worcester, MA) – $2,000 with a $1,000 match for the Together for Kids Coalition Family Advisory Council.
- Tri-Valley, Inc. (Dudley, MA) – $6,000 towards the Money Management Program.
- Worcester Chamber Music Society (Worcester, MA) – $1,000 for the Neighborhood Strings programming.
- Worcester Youth Center, Inc. (Worcester, MA) – $3,500 to support the organization’s Core Programs.
- Worcester Youth Orchestras (Worcester, MA) – $1,000 for financial aid programming.
- YWCA Central Massachusetts, Inc. (Worcester, MA) – $10,000 to support the Transformations programming.
