Operations Department Adds Business Systems Manager

Sam Bitar, Assistant Vice President Business Analyst has been promoted to Vice President, Business Systems Manager, a new position for the operations team. Sam has been with Webster Five for 16 years, working in various positions within the retail area and has been the business analyst since August 2013. In his role, Sam manages a team that works on numerous projects to assist the bank in implementing change to improve efficiency and effectiveness. With the creation of his new position, Sam and his team will continue to partner with different areas of the bank to formulate technology initiatives to better meet the needs of customers.

Sam has served as the Executive Director/Treasurer of the Webster Five Foundation since 2013. He graduated from Assumption College in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, and earned his Master’s of Science-Finance degree from Clark University in 2010. He serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance, is a Corporator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest, and is on the Endowment Committee for St. George Orthodox Cathedral. Sam also recently completed a three-year term on the Oxford School Committee.
