Webster Five Foundation Awards Nearly $186,000 to 54 Nonprofits in First Half of 2026

Funding from the Webster Five Foundation supports organizations advancing essential community services across Central Massachusetts and beyond

Auburn, MA – The Webster Five Foundation has awarded 54 grants totaling $185,917 during the first half of 2026, continuing its long-standing commitment to strengthening the communities it serves. 

Through its grant program, the Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that expand access to education, arts and culture, social services, community development and other charitable initiatives.

The following organizations received grants in the first half of 2026:

• Apple Tree Arts — $2,000.00 to support the Financial Aid Assistance Program.
• ArtsWorcester — $2,000.00 for the Future Arts Workers of Worcester programming. 
• Assabet Valley Mastersingers — $500.00 for the Senior Citizen Accessibility programming.
• Bancroft School — $2,500.00 to support the 23rd year of the Worcester Partnership. 
• Boys & Girls Club of Worcester — $1,000.00 for the Literacy and Numeracy at the Club programming. 
• CASA Project Worcester County, Inc. — $10,000.00 to support the CASA Child Court Advocacy Program.
• Center for Women & Enterprise — $3,500.00 to support the general operations of the CWE Central MA office.
• Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance — $3,000.00 for the organization's 41^st Annual WALK for the Homeless.
• Dismas House of Massachusetts — $5,000.00 toward Dismas House Richards Street services.
• Easterseals Massachusetts, Inc. — $1,500.00 for the Worcester County Adaptive Recreational Swim Program.
• Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Inc. — $1,500.00 to support the Leveraging Technology for Vaccine Equity and Better Health programming. 
• Ellie Fund — $2,000.00 for the Equitable Pathways to Breast Cancer Care (Equitable Pathways) for Underserved Patients and Families in Massachusetts. 
• Empower Grieving Children, Inc. — $1,000.00 toward the Mentor Programs.
• Genesis Club House, Inc. — $5,000.00 for the Supported Education Program for Students with Serious Mental Illness.
• Girls on the Run Worcester County — $1,000.00 to support the purchasing of athletic footwear for participants in the upcoming season.
• Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester — $3,000.00 toward the construction of an affordable home located at 9 Davis Street, Worcester, MA.
• HopeWell Inc. — $1,000.00 for the organization’s Comprehensive Foster Care Program in the Worcester area.
• Hopkinton Running Club — $1,000.00 to increase the Club’s scholarship fund for local high school students and enhance community outreach.
• Jeremiah’s Inn — $6,000.00 toward its Nutrition Center which helps alleviate hunger and food insecurity.
• Jewish Healthcare Center, Inc. — $5,000.00 as the second installment of a $15,000 multi-year grant toward the organization's Capital Campaign.
• Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester — $1,000.00 for the organization’s English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) and Workforce Readiness Program for New Americans in Greater Worcester.
• MAB Community Services, Inc. — $1,250.00 for the Cafe Nine programming. 
• Main South Community Development Corporation — $5,000.00 toward the Hammond Heights Affordable Housing Predevelopment programming.
• Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition (MassBike) — $1,000.00 toward the E-Bike Safety and Awareness Program. 
• Mom Bomb — $1,000.00 to support the Lifeline Program.
• Mustard Seed Catholic Worker Community Inc. — $2,500.00 for the organization’s Summer Enrichment Programming for Low-Income Youth.
• Nativity School of Worcester — $5,000.00 as the third and final installment of a $25,000 multi-year grant to support the Nativity School of Worcester Julie Power Girls Division Campaign.
• Nichols College — $5,000.00 to support the Nichols College/Boys & Girls Club of Webster-Dudley partnership.
• Old Sturbridge Inc. — $5,000.00 for Educational Outreach to Webster Schools 2026-2027.
• One Can Help — $1,500.00 to support the organization’s sole program which provides the missing resources underserved children and families involved with the juvenile courts or with Department of Children and Families (DCF) need to move forward. 
• Open Sky Community Services, Inc. — $15,000.00 toward the organization’s Aurora Staff-Supported Activities. 
• Our Bright Future — $3,333.00 as the second installment of a $10,000 multi-year grant toward the renovation of a building that will be a hub of education, mentorship and support to students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Pakachoag Music School — $2,500.00 for its Music Matters – Supporting Music Instruction in Worcester programming.
• Pathways for Change, Inc. — $5,000.00 toward general operating expenses.
• Pernet Family Health Service — $5,000.00 for the organization’s Emergency Assistance – food and infant supply pantry.
• Pleasant Street Neighborhood Network Center — $1,000.00 to support the Community Outreach and Youth Engagement – COYE Initiative.
• Project New Hope, Inc. — $2,000.00 for its community-based services for Veterans programming.
• Provision Ministry, Inc. — $25,000.00 over three years toward the construction of Provision’s Distribution Center Project.
• Rainbow Child Development Center — $8,000.00 to support the organization’s Preschool STEAM Innovators programming.
• Regional Environment Council, Inc. — $5,000.00 as the second installment of a $25,000 multi-year grant to support REC’s capital campaign. 
• Science from Scientists — $2,500.00 for the organization’s In-School Module-Based (ISMB) STEM Enrichment Program in Worcester Public Schools.
• Senior Connection, Inc. — $2,000.00 for the Barbershop on Wheels programming.
• Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services — $8,000.00 toward the organization’s Clinical Outreach programming.
• Straight Ahead Ministries — $2,000.00 to support the organization’s Worcester Youth Reentry Program. 
• Sweet Inspirations — $1,000.00 for its 2026-2027 Workforce Development Program.
• The Carroll Center for the Blind — $1,000.00 for the organization’s educational services for blind and visually impaired children and teens programming. 
• Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group, Inc. — $4,000.00 to support the All-Star Adventure Program (ASAP Camp).
• UMass Memorial Health – Harrington Hospital — $10,000.00 over four years toward the Support for Behavioral Health Patients in Need programming.
• Worcester Area Mission Society, United Church of Christ — $3,000.00 for the organization’s Summer CUBS programming.
• Worcester Children’s Chorus, Inc. — $1,000.00 toward the organization’s Tuition & Touring Assistance Program.
• Worcester County Mechanics Association — $2,500.00 to support the organization’s Many Voices: Mechanics Hall Youth Singers programming.
• Worcester Natural History Society (d.b.a. EcoTarium) — $2,000.00 for the Discovery Camperships program.
• Worcester Refugee and Immigrant Support and Empowerment for Health — $7,500.00 over three years toward the organization's Capital Campaign. 
• YMCA of Central Massachusetts — $10,000.00 for the Achievers Program.
