The APY assumes interest will remain on deposit until maturity; a withdrawal will reduce earnings. A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal. The daily compounding method is used on all certificates of deposit except on 6 month certificates of deposit, which are compounded monthly. Fees or other conditions could reduce the earning on the accounts shown above. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

*At maturity, this account will automatically renew and convert into a standard 12-month Certificate of Deposit (CD). It will earn the standard 12-month rate in effect at that time (which may be lower than this promotional rate) and will become subject to our standard 12-month early withdrawal penalty, which is currently 6 months' interest on the amount withdrawn.
**To qualify for this promotional CD, your opening deposit must be made entirely with new money, meaning funds that come from outside Webster Five, such as a check from another financial institution, an external ACH transfer, or a wire transfer. Funds transferred from Webster Five accounts that are currently open or were closed within the last 90 days do not qualify. Webster Five reserves the right to determine whether a deposit meets the new money requirement.
