Check Imaging
With each Webster Five checking account statement, you will receive images of your own cancelled checks in numerical order on a three-hole punched 8.5" x 11" page that makes for easy filing and record keeping.
Safe Deposit Boxes
Safe, sound, and secure. A low-cost security compartment within the bank’s vault for the storage of valuables, with key access under the customer’s control. Available at all branch locations excluding Commercial Street and Grafton Street branches in Worcester, MA. Content of safe deposit boxes is not insured.
Overdraft Protection
If you have ever overdrawn your checking account, you are aware of the problems and expenses associated with inadvertent overdrafts. In order to avoid these situations, Webster Five provides the option of applying for a Personal Line of Credit to protect your account or offers the service of directly transferring funds from any Webster Five checking or savings account. Certain customers may be eligible for our Overdraft Privilege Service, contact Webster Five to learn more.
FraudWatch PLUS
You may not know it, but you have round-the-clock protection against the increasingly savvy perpetrators of debit card fraud. That’s because the debit cards we issue are protected by FraudWatch PLUS. Through an important partner of ours, we provided industry leading technology, tools, and the expertise to manage fraud. Experienced fraud analysts work around the clock, watching for any suspicious card activity and will contact you immediately if they detect potential fraud on your card. Just let us know when you are traveling so your card activity does not look suspicious. If you ever get a call from “Fraud Prevention Services” know that our watchdogs are doing their job and preventing potential fraudulent use of your card. Fraud is serious business, and can hit anytime. That is why we are always on guard to detect and prevent fraud from happening to you.
Direct Deposit - Federal
This free service, initiated by the Treasury Department of the federal government, helps to eliminate the worry of lost or stolen checks and provides immediate access to funds upon direct deposit. This is ideal for all customers who receive reoccurring income from the federal government.
Direct Deposit - Payroll
This free feature allows customers to automatically deposit their payroll checks into any Webster Five account or automatically pay any Webster Five mortgage or loan payment. You can also elect to have a portion of your payroll directly deposited into any Webster Five savings account and start building towards your future today!
Wire Transfers
This is a quick, convenient and safe way to send money to another individual or banking institution either domestically or internationally (some restrictions apply). To ensure funds are transferred the same day, requests should be made before 1:00 p.m. at any Webster Five branch location. You will also be required to provide the recipient's name, account number, ABA or routing number, financial institution's official name, as well as exact location.
Permanent Dividend Order
An optional service in which Webster Five provides customers with a monthly dividend check mailed to their home address based on the amount of interest earned on an account for a given month. This service is available to any customer who has an interest bearing account with Webster Five.

U.S. Savings Bonds
As an authorized agent of the United States Treasury Department, Webster Five provides customers the ability to purchase Series EE and I Bonds, which are appreciable securities offered through the Department of the Treasury. This is an ideal gift for someone who is saving for college and your purchase can also be tax-free. Available denominations are $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000. Purchase price is 50% of face value for Series EE Bonds and full value for Series I Bonds. Interest is guaranteed by the United States.
Medallion Signature Guarantee
Medallion Guarantees are primarily used for the purchase or sale of stock securities. This service is available at all branch locations for customers (must be Webster Five account holders) who have stock papers that need authorized signatures.
Notary Services
Every Webster Five branch has a notary public on staff for customers who may need to have important papers signed by a notary public. Notary services are sufficient for the majority of official documentation with the exception of documents involving stocks or mutual funds (see above for Medallion Signature Guarantee). And best of all, notary services are free to all Webster Five customers.
