August 4, 2009 – The Webster Five Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, announced today that it will donate $2,000 annually for three years to the Worcester Community Action Council (WCAC). The funds will support the WCAC’s Individual Development Account (IDA), an asset-forming program which helps eligible individuals save for a home, higher education, or a business. August 20, 2009 – The Webster Five Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, announced today that it will donate $4,000 to the Old Sturbridge Village. The donation will help fund the museum’s Educational Outreach Project, a program that provides under-served schoolchildren in Worcester with access to the museum regardless of the school’s economic status. August 20, 2009 – The Webster Five Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, announced today that it has donated $2,500 to the Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc., located in North Oxford. These funds will support the expansion of the Campership Program, which enables economically disadvantaged children who are insulin dependent to participate in year-round resident and day camp educational, recreational, and support programs focused on diabetes management. February 22, 2010 – The Webster Five Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, announced today that it will donate $4,000 to the Henry Lee Willis Center. February 22, 2010 – Webster Five is pleased to announce that the staff of Minuteman Mortgage, located in Shrewsbury, MA., has joined the Webster Five Mortgage department where they will contribute to the mortgage sales initiative. Terrence C. Martin the owner of Minuteman Mortgage will join Webster Five as Vice President/Mortgage Origination Officer. Donna M. Casten-Scaletta will be joining the bank as Secondary Market Officer. With their deep mortgage history and product experience, they will work to help develop strategies to expand the bank’s core mortgage offerings.
