Community Involvement
Community Reinvestment

The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 is intended to encourage financial institutions to help meet the credit needs of all the communities in which they serve, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.*

This past year, the Massachusetts Division of Banks and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation awarded Webster Five an ‘Outstanding’ rating for community reinvestment in helping to meet the needs of people in our service area. The rating of ‘Outstanding’ is extremely difficult to attain and is an accomplishment Webster Five is proud to achieve.

Webster Five is strengthening its ongoing commitment to participate in programs that service, upgrade, improve, and revitalize all areas of our community—including those that are underserved or in need. We are also dedicated to meeting the housing needs of all, including those of low and moderate incomes.

Here is a sampling of our most recent community involvement—all to make a difference.
