Community Involvement
The Webster Five Foundation
The Foundation will consider a request from organizations that are based in or will directly benefit Webster Five's delineated community.
In 2010, the Webster Five Foundation distributed nearly $120,000 in donations and grants to local organizations and charities.
Guidelines for grant application
The Webster Five Foundation application package consists of the following:
Types of organizations the Foundation will support: Youth Services, Senior Services, Health and Social Services
Types of support: Annual Campaigns, Program Development, Emergency Funds
The Foundation will not support: Individuals, political organizations/candidates, churches, synagogues or mosques, fraternal organizations, employment unions and tax-supported entities. Exceptions to the tax-supported entity exclusion will be considered for library capital campaigns that are supported by a private funding program.
The Foundation discourages repeat requests for funding for the same programs/projects. A repeat request for funding should be well documented. Unusual or emergency circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The Board of Directors meets four times a year, on the first Thursday in January, April, July, and October. Requests should be received by the 15th of the month preceding the quarterly meeting for consideration at that meeting. To download and print a grant application, please click below.
